The EA forums show NO SOLUTIONS TO THIS PROBLEM WHATSOEVER ALTHOUGH THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN PRESENT FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I tried most common sense solutions ie download and execute the Origin Reset Tool, manually deleting origin, messing with my partitions (don't do this part if you have no clue what you're doing, you will render your computer inoperable and corrupt your hard drive, DON'T DO IT UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING), etc and so on and on and on. After I set up a scalable partition and installed windows 10, my origin client started to bug out. I encountered this error when I quit sims 4 and then set up VirtualBox to run windows.
